Ala Malisa – commited dancer, choreographer, musicalisadora de tango, since couple of years intensly co-creating the Berlin tango life. Famous for her high spirited sets inspired by La Epoca de Cuarenta, reflexing passion, strenght, rhythm and character of the tango reneissance, on
which she mostly bases her performances. Lover of powerful and emotional charged music pieces that inspire to abrazo total. She perceives dj-ing, like tango itself, as a soulful meeting that require a full attentive presence to became true.

Hi, my name is Dariusz Bekała, I come from Szczecin, Poland. I have been into tango as a dancer and dj for 11 years, so I am only at the beginning of my adventure with this passion. Personally, I adore orchestras from the 1930s and 1940s, although I also admire some later pearls such as O. Pugliese, A. Gobbi or F. Sassone. When I dj at milongas, I arrange the music in real time – there are no ready-made playlists. I always observe the dancers, trying to notice what they like dancing to most, and I make my best to meet their expectations. I invite you to have great fun, see in on the dancefloor! Darek.

TANGO, THE MUSIC
As a term for describing me putting on music in Milongas I prefer “Musicalizador” than “DJ”, since I don’t mix music.
Like every Musicalizador, my main concern is to match Tango Dancers’ needs, whatever they are. On the dance floor, and just there ? Whether they need to warm up, to walk, to jump around, to rock, to cuddle, to relax, to chill out and so on. And like every Musicalizador, whether he/she likes it or not, I would say I have a profile. Most of all I like lively, joyful and powerful music. My aim is to see people smiling, enjoying and having a blast.
Tango music needs to be danceable and interesting to dance. It sounds banal, so banal and so much taken for granted that sometimes it’s also forgotten as concept. In my opinion, most of this kind of Tango music (and not all of it) we find in the so-called “Época de Oro”. A set needs to have a structure and needs to fit together. At the same time music needs to vary during the night, so it never gets boring and never repeats itself.
I’m an active Musicalizador in Berlin, putting on music regularly in some of the main Milongas of the city, as well as abroad in Festivals and Marathons. I am also co-organizer of two of the Milongas of Berlin, Max & Moritz

My tango adventure began in 2009. I’ve been massively addicted ever since then. Discovering the music and playing at milongas were a natural consequence of my chosen tango path. As a DJ, I try to keep a high level of energy and emotion on the dancefloor. I play a wide selection of the Golden Era tangos. My favourite orchestras are: D’Arienzo, Di Sarli, Calo, Biagi, Troilo. I played at marathons and festivals in Vilnius, Kiev, Lviv, Tallin and Minsk. I’m also a regular DJ at milongas in my hometown of Olsztyn.

When tango started to rule her world, the music heard in milongas became equally important. From that point there was only one step to DJing, which she has been doing with passion for years. She puts tangos into harmonious tandas, changing the atmosphere gradually. Her aim is to play the music that the dancers cannot resist dancing to.

Luca Lamberti TangoDj is a well known tango DJ, teacher, and dancer in the European tango circuit. Luca has been around to the UK, France, Germany, Finland,Sweden, Turkey, Lebanon, Denmark, Bulgaria, Italy spreading his unique spiritual approach to tango. Dancing since the year 2000 and studying with key tango world figures such as Naveira, Parilla, and Inza. Luca has been the organizer of Tangocamp Italy since 2009 and a key figure in the other 3 tango camp festivals. In 2015 was djing in : Florence International Tango Festival (Italy), Singapore (New Year’s Eve Milonga), Timisoara Tango Festival (Romania), Tangocamp Sweden, Tangomalevaje Festival (Denmark), Budapest Marathon (Hungary), Vienna Calling Marathon (Austria), Taipei tango fiesta and in many local events in Europe and Asia.

For me, the best music is tango music. I really like to listen to it and explore it. I can’t really say for how long I’ve been djing, days and months flow so fast.
Tango is for me an unlimited source of different emotions and positive energy. When I play on milongas, I like to present a wide variety of music for my friends dancing on the dancefloor.
I believe that a dj can create an unique climate of milonga in which everyone can have a good time.
When I’m playing, the most important benchmark for me are postive emotions of dancers and smile on their faces.
My favourite tango genre is “tango golden age”, but from time to time I use music from alter periods, if I feel like it.

I am a big fan of traditional tango music in all its diversity. Dynamic D’Arienzo makes me burn inside, deep Troilo or Pugliese makes my heart tremble in my chest, lyrical Di Sarli makes me soft and extra-attentive to a person I embrace… As a dancer I appreciate when the energy and mood of the music develops during the milonga, and each tanda makes me willing to return to the dancefloor again and again. That’s what I’m trying to do for other dancers as a DJ.

He is a superb tango teacher and an excellent dancer, characterised by unusual musical sensitivity. At a milonga he always creates extremely friendly, almost familial atmosphere.
Rafael has been dancing, teaching and Djing about 25 years. He plays traditional tandas with amazing power for dancing and (if people want to) also 1-2 alternative tandas to change the energy. Depending on the location, he also loves to use cortinas to make people laugh and relax. He´s the co-founder of Tangotanzen Macht Schön, one of the three big tango schools in Berlin and for 8 years he has been hosting the TTMS friday milonga.

My music is constant duel with sounds. I play what I feel in my soul fighting with stereotype of serious tango. During my set you will hear a crazy milongas accompanied by slow Di Sarli all that spiced with drop of D’Arienzo flavour.
I can always count on some suprise with unusual tango rendition. “Music needs to be played with pasion and needs to invite You to dance. Milonga has to flow smoothly – that is why he dosen’t create a playlist for the whole set but build the atmosphere as situation on the danceflor changes”.
